B is for bold

b

The "b" element is for stylistically treating a word or phrase as being somehow different from the rest, by using a heavier font weight than the surrounding text.

Possible uses might include key words in an abstract, product names in a review, etc.

The "b" element may be used for any span of text whose typographic presentation should be emboldened.

Here embolden is not the same as importance as used in the "strong" element.
