aside

The aside element provides a way for authors to explore an idea as a digression, without interrupting the flow of the main composition.

Asides are visually presented in their own display area, often as a block of text to the left or right of the material that it is tangentially related to.

Lascaux is the setting of a complex of caves near the village
of Montignac in southwestern France. Over 600 wall paintings
cover the interior walls and ceilings of the cave. The
paintings represent primarily large animals. The drawings are
the combined effort of many generations. The age of the
